Updates for WSSC FCU Members

WSSC FCU periodically reviews its products, services, and processes to ensure that they incorporate best practices for protecting our members’ information and accounts. That review includes services that might be available but not used by individual members. Depending upon various factors, we may determine that leaving such services open presents an unnecessary risk to our members.
With this in mind, we have made the decision to close access to the Shared Branch network for any members who have not used the service recently.
What does this mean?
- If you used Shared Branching during the period of April 11-November 11, 2025, your access is still open, and you do not need to take further action.
- If you do not remember the date you last used Shared Branching or wish to confirm that you still have access, please contact us to confirm that your access is still open.
- If you have never used or did not use Shared Branching during the period above, you will need to contact us via telephone, email, or secure message to opt-in for access. We will need to validate your identity to honor your request.
- Please contact us before using Shared Branching or now if you intend to do so in the future and do not want to address the matter then.
Our support for members using the Shared Branch Network is not in question, and there is no reason for concern.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause for our members, but believe that taking such action is in the best interest of all members.
