History

The WSSC FCU was chartered in May, 1964 with an initial asset base of
$2,000.  Since then, the Credit Union has grown to $20,000,000 in assets with over 2,600 members.

The WSSC Federal Credit Union is a member owned Credit Union whose purpose is to provide its members with financial products characterized by outstanding service.

We offer a complete array of deposit services; savings accounts, checking accounts, Christmas savings accounts and special savings accounts.  Electronic services such as ATM, ACH, VISA Debit ,Audio Response and Internet Banking provide easy access to your accounts.  We also offer competitive rates for many types of loans such as signature, vehicle and home equity.

Who Can Join ?

Individuals who work for or have retired from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission qualify for Credit Union membership.  Grand parents, parents, children, siblings and spouses of members are also qualified.  Individuals residing in the same residence as a member may also join.  WSSC Contractors may also join.
